Jahsoul Lyrical

To describe JahSoul in one word is impossible; when it’s so many aptitudes to this dude - Long winded, poetic; electrifying; harmonious and on the top with life.

Michael E, Custad also known as JahSoul The Lyrical -born in San Bernardino, California July 12th 1990 and raised in the fabulous Las Vegas Nevada. The African American, microphone controller initially started off writing poetry as early as eight years of age, JahSoul grew up being heavily influenced by his older brother Patrick J. Booker aka Eastwood. JahSoul would watch for hours in amaze as his older sibling rip the mic; while telling remarkable stories from raw reality.

Sadly at such a young age JahSoul lost Patrick; his big brother who inspired him. Jahsoul’s passion for writing burned his soul with rage after experiencing the untimely murder of his brother in October of 1999 in Las Vegas Nevada. The tragedy lost sent JahSoul into a downward spiral,” what was once the sweet poetic justice of a 9 year old boy, soon became lyrics of revenge, anger, and hatred” (shared by JahSoul). His mother of Creole roots; not knowing how to deal with her broken sons heart; and she needed to save her baby boy’s life, she sent her son JahSoul to reside with his father in Carson, California. JahSoul’s faith and beliefs furthered tested him in life. He starts acting out with fighting, gang affiliation and unacceptable rebelliousness. To make a very long story short; there's nothing like a father with Guyanese values because he put the nonsense to an end “real quick”

JahSoul artistic talents made him get more involved in performing arts programs. JahSoul quickly became interested in English, which became his favorite subject. JahSoul kept his big brothers’ vision in his heart and made a promise to pick up the rocks his older brother had left behind. He quickly became more intrigued with the new era and sound of the rap game. Jahsoul took some time to reinvent himself to find his astonishing, and out of this universe sound, “I went through many stage names” (JahSoul laughs) and many studios, and many disappointments, much money and time invested into this new found passion stated by “JahSoul”

Finally at the age of 23, Michael Custard was ready to be introduced to the world as JahSoul The Lyrical. JahSoul built quite the resume under his belt in a short time from blazing the stage with the legendary Too Short, Warren G. and The Westside Connection. Hosting major events to co- hosting on an Internet radio show called "True Magazine Unplugged” as well as co- headliner for an “Get Money Stop Hatin Underground Tour” which cover 35 cities in four months time span. Jahsoul The Lyrical has built himself into a walking empire as a man of business in music, song- writer, recording artist, radio personality and coordinates major events.

Now, The Lyrical has found his futuristic metallic sound and is prepared to take the music world by the unknown with his new hit singles “True and Fire” And soon tol be released his EP Blaque Rocks. I’m ready are you!!! “Stated by JahSoul”
