I am a jazz singer with a style influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, blended with modern jazz. I perform with a 3-4 piece combo in the LA/Orange County area.
Janet graced us with her INCREDIBLE vocal ability during a dinner party for 80 this past weekend. The way she wove herself into the crowd, chatted with guests, and of course SANG was nothing short of fabulous. Her voice is unmatched, her set list was perfect for the occasion. It definitely felt like she could spot the mood of the crowd and worked from it-- we've received rave compliments and are cannot wait to have her back later this year.
Her professionalism showed, she was ready to perform at the exact moment we agreed and kept the guests absolutely spellbound the entire evening.

A jazz combo that thrives in a live setting. As a group, we know how to roll with the punches and enjoy musical improvising in the tradition of jazz. That said, we come prepared with a repertoire of jazz standards and a few tunes from surprising sources and are very flexible and able to factor the wishes of our clients into our performance.
I am a jazz singer in the Orange County and LA area. I have been studying music for 8 years and am well versed in many musical styles including jazz, pop and classical. Jazz is my true passion and what I pursue most actively. I perform with a 3-4 piece combo which can include piano, drums and bass. Guest performers (saxophone, trumpet, etc.) can be hired based on client needs. I have performed for a variety of public and private events and pride myself and my ensemble on being punctual and professional, as well as making great music.
We provide all the gear necessary to give a live performance, but we are also happy to plug into a pre-existing sound system. For a concert setting, it is preferred that a microphone and mixing board be provided by the venue.

For myself, Ella Fitzgerald is probably my biggest role model, as well as other jazz greats such as Sarah Vaughn and Carmen McRae. I also draw influence from modern singers such as Kate Reid, Diana Krall, Debbie Ebert and Andrea Miller.
