Jared Douglas Comedy

I perform clean stand-up material so I don't curse or create overly vulgar images. I usually perform between 15 to 30 minutes of polished material. For longer shows I invite other comedians to fill in time and for greater variety.

I'm a native of Houston, TX and I love my city! I'm a feature level stand-up comedian and a regular at open mics across Houston, Texas. My first time performing stand-up comedy was as a senior in High School in 2008. I did well and caught the comedy bug; I fell in love with the art! In college, I performed off and on while pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. I soon discovered I'm much better at telling jokes than I am at building circuits; I still earned my degree. In 2012, I tied 1st place at the University of North Texas vaudeville talent show. I tied with a hip-hop dancer! Feel free to watch the video of my performance in my video section. After college I hosted my own comedy shows for a year. Now I'm ready to take things to the next level. I perform clean comedy so no need to cover your eyes or ears! For most occasions I can provide my own audio equipment. I can perform in a relatively small working space too. I just need to perform near a wall outlet to power my equipment.
