Born Jesse Brown in Hempstead, NY, national recording artist and songwriter JB is prepared to take the world on a Hip-Hop lyrical voyage through life and into a new era.

JB is currently the Vice President of Talent and Creative Services at Original Man Entertainment Group. Under the mentorship of Grammy nominated songwriter and music industry executive Dr. Tracy Randall, JB is quickly becoming a name to remember. JB has a project entitled Hustle Sold Separately that is available online at no cost and has a self described ‘desire to inspire’ that works well with his catchy, comfortable and fun music.

Inspired by Kanye West, Andre 3000, Earl Sweatshirt, Pusha T, & Wiz Khalifa, JB launched his musical career the summer of 2010 and knew he had “IT” during his first big sold out show in Cleveland, OH with Machine Gun Kelly & Twista. JB often spends time focusing on completing tasks. “You should first learn the business, understand who and what you are dealing with. Then come up with a concise plan to make whatever your end goal is happen. People find relative happiness in possessions and recognition, but I think its a beautiful thing when you can set out to do something and actually get it done,” JB says.

In 2016, JB will concentrate on releasing his first ever studio album and an international tour. He is now writing records for a few top mainstream artists. JB’s authentic love of music keeps him motivated, but great production keeps him going.

Known for creating genuine vibes that move people when they hear his music, JB has a knack for just hearing an idea and running with it. He would like to be considered as a young mogul who rose from the bad circumstances surrounding him and INSPIRES everyone to get up dream and execute their plan. He says, “Its well worth it in the end. I want to instill not only motivation but the endurance to keep going.”

MTV describes JB as “reminiscent of a young Andre 3k”, and says that “It definitely won’t be long before he’ll be turning up the airwaves, gracing the pages of GQ and making the XXL Freshmen Cover.”

JB’s describes his passion for unique his hip-hop art form as simply being “excited that a young kid from Hempstead can make it a point of showing others when you work hard, have faith in god and PUSH, anything is possible. I push that in my music as well as often as I can.”

JB will absolutely make waves in the coming years as he transitions from an impactful indie hip-hop artist to an internationally known name.
