J.D. has over a thousand songs in his song list and can tailor to any event. Playing Oldies, Classic Rock, Motown, Country, and Blues. He can have you dancing till you drop or a relaxing acoustic dinner style. Being that J. D. is a solo act, he doesn't take up a lot of room leaving plenty of space for dancing.
J. D. was born in Baltimore, MD. He started playing guitar at the age of 7. He formed his first band at the age of 14 playing bluegrass. While serving in the Marine Corps he started a country band in Japan playing for the troops. After being transfered to California he formed another group warming up for Hank Jr, Merle Haggard, Alabama, and The Bellamy Brothers. After his military service was over he settled in Findlay, OH. After playing with several groups he went solo in 1994. He has been a main entertainer at Put-in-Bay, OH since 1996 and tours all over Ohio, Michigan, Florida, and Indiana.
