Hello, I am a fingerstyle guitar player in the style of Michael Hedges, Andy McKee, etc. I have a very extensive repertoire ranging from well know rock, pop and blues tunes to flamenco, classical and jazz pieces and of course, original compositions.
I am confident entertaining large groups of people onstage, but I am equally comfortable to slip into a more 'background music' scenario. I have my own portable, battery powered amplification for smaller gigs - there's no need to provide me with power.
I love to play at wineries, restaurants, bars, weddings... you name it - as long it isn't a rave.
I booked Jeff the first time for a birthday celebration and everyone was amazed by his performance. He has played a few times for us now & we have multiple people asking when he will be back. He arrives on time, has excellent communication & planning, and is great with each and every guest that interacts with him. I highly recommend him for any type of event. You’ll be missing out if you don’t!
Jeffry is a one of a kind performer with a level of proficiency that is rarely seen in person. He excels at fingerstyle acoustic guitar, with elements of guitar percussion, and advanced techniques that take an insurmountable amount of time to master, let alone perform. Jeffry rules!
We hired Jeffery to play at our 2 days festival Incandesence. He helped with promos, and was an admit professional at all times. He also extremely talented. It's not often that you get to hear this great of guitar playing.
We hired Jeffry to provide Saturday night tunes at our upscale sushi restaurant.. Our guests absolutely adored his music, perfectly tasteful, curated with the taste and craft of a much older musician. Oddly enough he even took a request for a Steely Dan song. Dolorous and Georgine wanted to take him home after.
Response from Jeffry Steck:
Dolorous and Georgine were very gracious with the tips they left.
I will say, the sushi chef Sloan made me a very delicious roll of the sushi.
Jeffry was so professional, kind, and talented! He played at our restaurant several times and we received many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend him.
Jeffry is one of the best guitarists you'll ever see!
He plays all kinds of instrumental music from Jazz, to pop, to rocking grooves.
He puts on an incredible show!

No technical requirements necessary! All I need is a place to put my amp and my chair.
However, I pride myself on making things easy for sound engineers if the situation requires.

Nothing! I am totally self sufficient.
For larger venues, all I need to give the sound guy is a stereo output
