Jessica Rae’s music has traditional rock energy with a refined country quality that is both contemporarily fresh and tenderly honest.
Photography for her latest album “Freedom Avenue”, and much of her photo portfolio, were done by world-renowned, Chicago based, Marc Hauser. Hauser has photographed musical legends from Janis Joplin and Jimmy Hendrix, to John Cougar Mellencamp and B.B King.
Jessica Rae has shared the stage with Pat Benatar, Brantley Gilbert, Josh Kelley, Guy Clark, Roger McGuinn, Radney Foster, Randy Rogers, Jack Ingram, Keith Anderson, Glen Phillips, David Ball and Jeffrey Steele. Jessica Rae is a regular National Anthem performer for the Chicago Bulls and has been asked to sing the Anthem at many other major sporting events. She performs at NYC's The Bitter End, Chicago’s Joe's on Weed Street, at Hard Rock Cafs nationwide and has tours extensively throughout the US. She has twice performed Milwaukee Summerfest, the world's largest music festival, in 2010 and 2013. Jessica Rae has independently released two music videos, featuring her songs "I Could Get Used To This" and “24 Hour Church (in Memphis)”, both being featured on ZUUS Country TV. In 2009, she was selected to be a “Rising Star” on the PBS Television show, Legends & Lyrics. Two of the tracks from her album, Freedom Avenue, are featured in the upcoming documentary movie, KICK GAS, directed by Jonathan Becker; a film about electric vehicles crossing the United States from coast to coast, that is expected to be released in April 22nd 2014, Earth Day.
You can also hear Jessica Rae sing and perform violin on many regional and national commercials, including those for McDonalds, Buick, Allstate, Seaworld, Hallmark, Kellogg’s, Bank Of America, and Guardian.
Original music. Covers include classics from the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger, etc. I also do a lot of country covers including hits by Patty Loveless, Loretta Lynn, Lee Brice, Miranda Lambert, etc. I am happy to learn requests for your event as well.
