I will generally set up a keyboard and guitar with a small sound system and two microphones.
I will play from 30 to 90 minutes' worth of well-known uplifting and inspirational songs with a smattering of my encouraging and fun original music.
Those in attendance can join in by singing, clapping, or just listening in silence. Depending on the response, we may go deep into worship, or we may just have a time of laughter and fun.
Regardless, everyone will all go home feeling better than when they came.
We had scheduled a pastor to speak with us due to our pastor having surgery and were not sure how he would be feeling. Had not thought about the fact that the regular pastor also lead our praise in song portion of worship. So we reached out to a friend who sent Jim to lead us giving him very short notice. Jim did an awesome job!

Jim did a House Concert at Open Doors United Methodist Church of Blue Eye in September of 2020. It was well attended and everyone had a great time. Jim did an awesome job performing many great traditional songs as well as some of his own wonderful and uplifting creations. I would recommend him to anyone who loves having a great time and listening to wonderful uplifting music. I look forward to having another House Concert with him some day.
