Joe and his partner playing the dohl to dance my husband family and guests into our fusion wedding were incredible. Joe is a real natural entertainer. Not only did he follow the script I provided at my son’s wedding but he also improvised on the spot by singing Scottish tunes during our unforeseen intervals.
With his wonderfully calm personality, Joe was very accommodating from start to finish and nothing seemed to faze him nor be too much trouble.
I would definitely recommend Joe also for his great sense of humour and talents as a singer and piper.

Joe did a wonderful job playing the bagpipes for my wife’s 70th birthday. He arrived on time and looked dashing in his kilt. He played all the songs we asked for brilliantly!

Joe McDonald was wonderful to respond on short notice to provide a small tribute to the lives lost in Nova Scotia on April 18/19th. He connected with our small gathering (all physically distant) with both beautiful music and a gentle camaraderie. I very much appreciated that he took the time to be tradionally attired for the occasion. Hope to be able to enjoy more music by Joe and his band-mates on more happy occasions in the future.
