My performances can be catered to any age, audience or profession.
The average presentation last 40 minutes but can be shortened for more transient audiences at festivals, zoos, etc..
For my storytelling and symphony performances I average about 15 drawings in a single show. Those drawings remain with you and can be given out, raffled off, or sold at your discretion.
My shows are always lively, energetic and interactive.
I can perform with a large easel or camera and projector depending on the presentation needs and venue.
I arrive at least 40 minutes before my set performance time.
I am a cartoonist, storyteller, writer, and performer with over 30 years experience.
Known throughout the country as the "fastest draw in the east," I am constantly developing new and exciting ways to incorporate live cartoon illustration into performances and presentations.
My stage performance combining storytelling and live cartoon illustration has been presented in over 45 states and thousands of events, festivals, schools and conventions.
My live cartooning demonstrations have been combined with performances of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Erie Philharmonic.
But that is just the beginning....
From keynotes on creativity to hands on workshops I am truly able to add variety to your next event, conference, assembly or business meeting.
I have been the visiting resident cartoonist of the Charles M. Schulz Museum in California.
My MazeToons newspaper feature is syndicated nationwide by Creators Syndicate.
I served as both founder and executive director of the ToonSeum, Pittsburgh's Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art for 7 years.
I am the culture correspondent for WESA an NPR affiliate in Pittsburgh.
I also continue my work as both a writer and cartoonist for a wide range of publications.
For most presentations I bring my own easel, tablet and markers.
For presentations that require projection I bring my own camera which can be patched into most projectors. If needed I can bring my own projector.
For large audiences I require a microphone and speakers.
