I am first and foremost a keyboardist with specific skills in piano (all genre), harpsichord, and organ. My expertise lies in not only playing professional level keyboard music but also tailoring a music program for any client's needs. With expert attention to detail, my services render positive results that will leave the client satisfied and content.
Director of Music and keyboardist John Austin Clark serves as co-founding Artistic Director for Bourbon Baroque (bourbonbaroque (dot) com). He received his collegiate training at Oberlin Conservatory of Music (B.M.) in music education and at McGill University (M.M.) in harpsichord performance.
In addition to his administrative responsibilities with Bourbon Baroque, Mr. Clark operates a private piano studio, is an active accompanist and vocal coach, directs musical theatre and opera, and performs regularly throughout the surrounding region including appearances with Catacoustic Consort of Cincinnati, Ohio and Lexington Philharmonic of Lexington, Kentucky as well as adjudicating for regional musical competitions including the KMEA Choral Festival ratings and the Kentucky Bach vocal competition.
I prefer gigs where sound equipment and a keyboard/piano is provided, but each client's needs will be catered to in a case-by-case manner.
