John Baldino is a digital lifestyle expert, award-winning television host and producer, and teacher of philosophy and religious studies. A renowned presenter, he has delivered well over 500 speeches and presentations in 16 states and the District of Columbia. He passionately engages audiences in his speeches on media topics, social responsibility, and Catholic/Christian issues.

John Baldino is a Secular Franciscan and an accomplished, innovative educator. John serves as a tenured Assistant Professor in Philosophy and Religious Studies at Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he teaches and develops on-ground, online, and hybrid courses in Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Communications. He instructs traditional college students, adult learners, and dual-enrollment high school students.
In addition to teaching, John is director of Lackawanna College’s Center for Teaching and Learning. The CTL offers professional development, training, and support to full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, and specialty program staff. In addition, John is an Adjunct Instructor in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Excelsior University in Albany, New York. There he teaches online courses in ethics and professional writing to adult learners.
John has two decades of experience in media production and marketing, specializing in digital strategies for small and medium-size businesses. A digital lifestyle and strategy expert, John has worked with 50+ television stations and other local media companies in more than 30 metropolitan areas nationwide creating, distributing, and monetizing digital content.
A professional writer, John has work frequently published Catholic Insight Magazine, Charity in Truth (a peer-reviewed scholarly journal), Catholic 365. He is also an award-winning marketing strategist and television host and producer. John has delivered more than 500 speeches and presentations in 16 states and the District of Columbia. He has worked in high-level positions at top-tier and regional media companies including the New York Times Broadcast Media Group, Nexstar Media Group, and the Wilkes-Barre Publishing Company where he was the youngest vice president in the company’s history.
John is a graduate of Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, Communications: Digital Media and Broadcast Production. He did graduate studies at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland, and Excelsior University and holds a Master of Arts, Liberal Studies: Philosophy. John earned a Graduate Certificate in Catholic Theology and Master of Arts Theology: Pastoral Theology at St. Joseph’s College of Maine.
Having grown up in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, John lives in in a suburb of Scranton. He spends his free time reading, writing, retrofitting antique technology, terrorizing his nieces and nephews, and binge-watching "Star Trek" reruns.
