John Crowley, Trumpeter

I am available as a solo artist or with a duo, trio, quartet, or quintet. I am comfortable with all genres and styles, have excellent sight-reading and improvisation skills, and can play lead/scream trumpet parts if needed.

I am an NC-based trumpeter with over 12 years of professional experience in jazz, classical, and commercial music. I studied music performance at the NC School of the Arts and at UNC Wilmington where I recieved numerous scholarships and won the 2012 Richard R. Deas Concerto Competition. I have shared the stage with jazz greats Chris Potter, Karrin Allyson, Joe Chambers, and Bucky Pizzarelli, classical soloists Ryan Anthony, Rich Ridenour, and Jens Lindemann, pop artists Sister Hazel, Xavier Rudd, and Vanessa Carlton, and Grammy-winning Motown acts The Four Tops and The Temptations. I am willing to travel and may be available to tour full-time depending on the opportunity.
