John’s music was truly a beautiful gift during these challenging times. My wife said it was one of the best birthdays she has ever had! John was professional, easy to communicate with and a pleasure to work with. Perfect for weddings, birthday celebrations or special events.
John provided a very intimate and enjoyable evening of beautiful soft non-intrusive music during our small dinner party. His voice was so smooth and on pitch the whole evening. We also loved when he surprised us with a few Italian opera songs as well.
John was amazing. Not only was he a great entertainer for our ceremony, he was a great person. He even took the time to learn new songs for our wedding. He was extremely professional from the start to the finish and we would recommend him to anyone. Awesome job!
Response from John Torres:
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ it was such a gorgeous ceremony! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.
First and foremost, above the fact that he's an unbelievably talented musician, John is an exceptional human being with a unique gift that transcends simple music ability. John's music has a way of turning any average or above average event into something truly memorable.
My wife and I had the incredible honor of having John sing at our wedding; both during the ceremony and after, for dinner/dessert. John's level of talent mixed with professionalism is likely unmatched. John doesn't need excessive directions or hand holding. As a driven/mindful musician, he knew what to play and when without coaching. John's song, "Hallelujah" brought everyone to tears during Communion at the ceremony.
If you have the opportunity to hire a musician for an anniversary/wedding/etc, please consider John. I would gladly discuss with anyone your concerns about hiring him. For record, I paid John in advance without hesitation because that's the type of person you're dealing with. I don't know what arrangements he would require, but I know he's excited to be able to transform your event into something of true beauty.
Thank you, sincerely John for not only being an outstanding musician but for being an even better person. Great, great, great, all the way.
We worked with John for our wedding reception in February 2014. Early on he worked closely with us in discussing our wants and needs for the evening. Ending up with a mix of his own amazing music, other artists songs and a special song that he sang from me to my husband. Wow. It was just perfect. He definitely created the atmosphere for the evening - our friends and family still light up at the mention of his name and that night. He is an amazing talent that we are thrilled to have discovered and now to consider a friend.
If you have the opportunity to have John Torres sing at your wedding or special event, be prepared for a gift of a lifetime. Yes, John has a huge repertoire, professional demeanor to spare, and is easy as all get out to work with. But you can't quantify the unending passion, heart and humanity that he brings to every performance. EVERY performance. If he's the main event or the guy doing special background music, your audience will be transformed and they won't forget his performance. So, if you have the chance to feature him, RUN - don't walk - to contact him! And be sure to enjoy the tremendous gift he is to you and your guests. You will thank yourself forever!
John is one of THE most talented men you'll ever meet. He has a voice of the angels. (This is not embellishment.) He's a true diamond and the kind of person you'll be thankful to have as a part of your special day. 5 years later we still think fondly on his voice as my wife walked down the aisle. Thank you, John!
My husband and I adore John Torres's music so much that we had to have him as the cantor for our wedding! He's such a talented singer who touched everyone in attendance at our wedding. His voice gave everyone goosebumps as he sang "The Prayer", "Se (Theme from Cinema Paradiso)" and "Ave Maria." Some of our guests were so impressed by his voice that they even hired him for their own events. I can't say enough great things about John as a singer and song writer. We are such big fans of his that we have been listening to his music for years! I highly recommend him for any event! You will not be disappointed!
When my wife and I were married fortunately John agreed to perform at our wedding and reception, and he ended up being the absolute star of our wedding! We were always big fans of John and his music; he has a beautiful voice and the lyrics to his original songs are so deep and meaningful. John performed his original song "Hallelujah" during our wedding ceremony, which absolutely blew everyone away, and our first dance was to his original song "Depend On Me" which is a special song to me and my wife. To top it off, John and his buddy/partner wrote an original humorous song about me and my wife that he performed towards the end of our wedding reception which was so unexpected by our guests. Our wedding was featured on Martha Stewart Weddings: http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/231824/joo-and-jacob-los-angeles-california/@center/272446/real-weddings A picture of John and his buddy/partner performing is Page 22 of 32. Having John perform at our wedding truly made our special day even more special and distinct.
Since then, John has performed for us and our friends in our home a number of times and it always ended up being a special evening.
John is a professional for years he has performed in Little Italy San Diego at the Festa as well as the largest Italian American Gala called Ferragosto. He's so good we asked him to do our wedding music. He nailed it! People came to see us get married and left saying "his voice is like an angel"
I had been a fan of John Torres for years. I would listen to his music and think this is the song I want at my wedding. Well, sure enough, I got engaged! I made an appointment to meet with John and we discussed my wedding. Sure enough, on my wedding day, there he was, performing in true professional style. It was a really special moment. John was professional, on time, wonderful to work with and really made our wedding special. Thanks, John!
John is absolutely amazing. We highered him to perform cemremony music for before, during and after our wedding. We received so many compliments. John was super accommodating and chose the best music for our ceremony. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!
