Family:
Jon Cap's Family Stand-up Show is great for anything from birthday parties to community events and can entertain a large number of people. Jon's show is fast paced from the moment the music is turned on, and within the first few minutes of the show, Jon produces hundreds of feet of silk streams from thin air. In addition to the many effects in Jon's show, he tries to make an American Flag with a child who is dressed up like Abraham Lincoln. This doesn't work out; as Jon is upset, the audience is laughing throughout this comedy bit. During the show, there is a lot of interaction and fun between Jon and the audience; both children and adults are spellbound at the wonderful magic and comedy throughout the performance.

MC/Stand-Up Show:

Walk-Around Magic:
Jon Cap's walk-around magic is great for entertaining your guests while they wait for food or to attract them to your business. During Jon's walk-around act, someone is told to pick and sign a card with their name, as Jon goes through the deck showing every card but everyone realizes their card has completely vanished. As the crowd looks at Jon, he opens his mouth and there is the card the person signed. This is just one of the many effects Jon performs. Everyone who witnesses Jon Cap's magic close-up is astonished and will never forget your event!

Balloon Sculptures:
A sure hit to bring smiles to everyone. Jon Cap makes the balloons right in front of your guests. Jon can make everything from dogs to teddy bears holding a heart to more elaborate sculptures and everything in between. This is great for boys and girls of all ages; everyone has a souvenir to bring home to remember your event!

Jon Cap started magic at a very young age after receiving a magic set as a gift. After performing for friends and family, he was hooked. At the age of fourteen, Jon Cap attended a magicians convention in New York City; there, teenagers from around the world gather to learn the art of magic from professional magicians. Jon Cap has been part of the staff at this convention for the past several years teaching magic to today's aspiring magicians.

Jon Cap holds a Bachelors and a Masters of Science Degree in Technology and Engineering Education both from Central Connecticut State University. He is a high school teacher at Metropolitan Business Academy, a small magnet school, in New Haven.
