Overview
Josh Bates is a Colorado native and retired military veteran who somehow ended up in Charleston, SC. Josh has been doing standup all over the Carolinas and Georgia, nominated the last two years as Best Conic in the Charleston City Paper, and has performed with the likes of Sean Patton and Jon Reep.. He was recently seen at the Charleston Comedy Festival and hosts the Summerville show, “Is This Art?” and “The Wine Down”. His down to earth married dad comedy is loved by many. Josh can also book different styles of comedians with him. PG-13 to R.

Josh was punctual, friendly, inviting and hilarious. We had a corporate event for our thanksgiving holiday and he crushed it making the grumpiest people I know laugh. I think he made some new fans.

Josh was not only incredibly funny, he was very professional. He was on time and had great communication with me before the show. This made me very comfortable to work with him. We had a very diverse crowd and he was loved by everyone. I will definitely work with him again.
