Josh is an experienced musician who has played around the world. He completed two contracts for Princess Cruise Lines as an acoustic guitarist/vocalist in 2016. For the last three years he played weddings/private events in the San Francisco Bay area. Now a Chattanooga local, he is a chiropractor and plays music on the side mostly for fun! He can travel to most cities within two hours driving distance including Atlanta, Nashville, and Birmingham. He currently plays over 1000 songs and can learn any song for any event. Most importantly, his fees are very reasonable.
Josh was great to work with and was a hit! Josh would not only take requests but encourage them. Josh was friendly and engaging. Josh made our summer party more memorable with his guitar music. Josh was perfect for our small, elegant wedding reception. My husband and I were hoping to find someone to provide beautiful, laid-back, live music for our 55 close family members and friends. We thought it would be nice to have some entertainment in the form a guitarist/vocalist while everyone spent the evening mingling - and it was terrific.
From the moment I asked him for a quote, Josh was quick to respond, friendly, and very professional. He was so sweet and personable to everyone he interacted with (me and my husband, all the guests, other vendors, coordinator, etc.), and I am so grateful for that.
Per our request, Josh played our first dance song over the PA system that he provided. He learned and modified/shortened the songs we wanted him to perform for the mother/son and father/daughter dances as well. In addition, he made all the necessary announcements (cake cutting, introductions for couple, dances, and speeches/toasts, etc.) and encouraged guests to make requests for songs, which he then played beautifully.
Josh was fantastic, and so many guests made a point to mention how wonderful it was to have him there. We are so thankful he was part of our special day, and highly recommend his services

Josh played our wedding ceremony and reception. He was so great, our guests loved him, he was very polished but laid back and went with it. My son had practiced a song to play on the violin for our reception and Josh graciously played along a few other tunes with him, then stayed longer than planned (we asked/paid). It’s pretty rare to find someone as versatile as Josh. In fact I’ve never met a guitarist who knows as many songs as he does. Not only that, but he’s willing to learn more in the matter of a week!!! My fiancé and I had a song in mind for our first dance, but it was just too country. I asked Josh if the song was something he knew, and he said No but he would learn it for us. We had josh perform the song alongside A good friend of mine. It made it extremely special. Josh was flexible with the chaos of our wedding and relocated to different spots throughout the venue (something not easy when you have such equipment). He also stayed a little later due to our timeline of events falling a tad bit behind. Thank you so much Josh! I can’t wait to work with you again

Josh was incredible! Everyone loved his music styling. He was so good, we paid him to play a 1/2 hr more. He was very easy to work with, all he needed was an outlet to setup his performance gear. He is seriously talented! I would definitely book him again!

Long story short, we met Josh Wheeler on a cruise ship where he performed in 2015. We thought he was incredible and he could play any song we requested! Then, we were having our wedding in Campeche, Mexico in January 2019. We couldn’t find any performers, then we remembered Josh!! We asked him if he would come to Mexico and play at our wedding and he did! Having Josh play was one of the Best decisions we made for our wedding. He was amazing and all the guests loved him! He can play any genre you request and can set the mood in any way you want! He really can liven up a crowd. He seriously made that day unforgettable for all of us. My friends now ask me for his info so they can book him for other events.

Josh Wheeler's music turns any gathering of people into a PARTY! He can play almost anything, really... and he'll do some wild mash-ups with all your favorite songs. Not to mention his loop pedal work will give you some KT Tunstall / Ed Sheeran vibes! He's very talented!

I have seen josh playing at several venues and will look for where he is playing to go see him. He will play anything you ask for.
