Kadak Chai was formed during the pandemic in Ajay's basement. Our practice sessions always start with a dose of strong chai each session (hence, our name!). Kadak Chai is currently made of five members - Ajay on lead guitar, Jay on bass guitar and vocals, Rajaram on percussion and the husband-wife team of Praveen and Sudha on vocals.
Playing first at Diwali and house parties, Kadak Chai has since emerged as one of Boston's most loved Bollywood bands. We would love to rock out your next corporate party, wedding, birthday celebration, house party, block party, or any other social gathering.
Typical stage area required is around 10x12 feet.
