Independent or with a group, Karen sings numerous songs from a variety of genres such as R&B, Jazz and Motown just to name a few. Karen has been singing professionally for over 10 years at weddings, receptions and festivals as well. She is also an Independent Artist and has original material. Karen can sing the songs that get you on the dance floor as well as the put emotion in slow songs that make you fall in love. She will be a wonderful addition to your event.
Karen was so great!!! First off, her voice is out of this world. Secondly, she kept the crowd singing and involved. She did a tremendous job. I would 100% book her again and recommend her to anyone. She is a 10 out of 10!!!

Karen did a live performance on my Radio Show for a large audience. She was phenomenal! She is the ultimate professional. Not only were here song selections great, but she engaged with the audience wonderfully.
Not your typical singer, she performs with her soul. Her spirit is a whole vibe in itself.

Karen Bryant was born in the Bronx, New York. She has a great love for music and an appreciation for different genres. She grew up listening to from R&B to Rock and everything in between.
Like many artists, Karen began singing in church. She also sang in the high school chorus. After graduation, she joined the military where she later joined her first band. It took some nudging and a lot of years of performing to convince her that singing was her destiny. Her musical journey has afforded her many opportunities such as performances at political events, at colleges and universities and an appearance at the famous Apollo Theatre.
Karen has been the featured vocalist at numerous events and venues throughout the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. She performed at the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus’ tribute to Dr. Joseph E. Lowery as well as for the tribute to the Honorable Andrew J. Young. She has performed with pianist Bobby Lyle, trumpeter Tom Browne, saxophonists Ronnie Laws, Grammy Nominee John Stoddart and was recently the opening act for 9 time Grammy winner Bobby Sparks, who is known for his performances with the band Snarky Puppy. Karen has also had the pleasure of performing live with the American Jazz Fusion band, Yellowjackets. She has performed at the Atlanta Jazz Festival and the Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival in Aruba. This singer/songwriter released her very first solo project appropriately entitled "Now It's Time" followed by two singles releases shortly after. Her love for music continues to grow, as does her love for performing.
Currently, Karen does solo performances and featured performances with bands around the Atlanta area and neighboring states to include North Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee to name a few.
When performing as a solo act, I have a personal, portable PA System including two speakers w/stands and microphones. I have many music tracks and will add to my repertoire when songs are requested that I don’t currently have…if the music is available.
