A violinist of 20+ years, I have a lot of experience in classical, RNB, pop, jazz, folk and more! After graduating with a full scholarship from Berklee College of Music in Boston, I have been teaching masterclasses, private instruction and performing across Austin, TX and the Hill Country area. For your special event, I can provide music for all of the important moments throughout the day (wedding ceremony, birthday parties, cocktail party, corporate event, live performance, etc.)
In addition to music, I also work as a private chef and recipe developer with my company Vegekated. I love to travel, and I am newly married to my amazing husband Bryce!

I had an outdoor wedding and we hired Kate to play during the reception and cocktail hour. Throughout the planning stages, Kate was very responsive which made planning a breeze. On the day of, her music was everything I was hoping it would be. I had many guests come up and compliment the music!

I hired Kate for an hour and half's worth of music for a live show, and she absolutely crushed it! She had a ton of music to learn, a short time to learn it, transcribed it herself, and she totally pulled it off. There is nothing this violinist can't do. Not only is she an amazing violinist and plays absolutely beautifully, but she's also super easy to work with, flexible, highly communicative, and just an amazing person. I highly recommend her.

Kate performed during our cocktail how and though we didn’t get to see much we received many compliments. There was over 200 people so it was difficult to hear in such a big area but once you focused on Kate it was beautiful.

Kate was the perfect edition to our event! She arrived early and was prepared for her set. Even when the weather didn't want to cooperate (super windy) she handled it beautifully and was still able to play for our event. The campus students, staff and faculty loved her music and enjoyed the atmosphere she created. I would not hesitate to book her for an event again. All music is performed acoustically. When requested, a backing track can be provided for most non-classical songs. If a backing track is used, it will be played on my personal bluetooth speaker.
If you feel like there would be a need for additional amplification (~over 250 people), please let me know so we can work out the details. I would recommend getting additional equipment rental through your venue, DJ, etc.
