Kathleen Donkus

We hired Kathy Donkus for our daughter's wedding reception. Kathy was perfect in every way. Most important, the music she created was exactly what we wanted. Everything went so smoothly - starting with our first phone call. She asked all the right questions - what type of music we wanted, about the amplification at the venue, what to wear that would be appropriate for the occasion, how long to play, etc.

She was prompt, dressed beautifully, very professional, immediately checked out the sound system available, made sure the volume was appropriate and started playing at the time requested. Her music was beautiful, tasteful, flowing, consistent with the theme of the party. She contacted me 15 minutes before the end time we had agreed upon and asked if I needed more of her time and talent, or if she should plan to stop as planned. She took breaks as needed only, not too often.

I would recommend her to anyone looking for a harpist. She is here to please her client, obviously caring about your needs, wanting to create the atmosphere you are looking for at your party. I would definitely hire Kathy Donkus again.

Kathy Donkus is not only a talented musician, but a lovely person as well. She is ready to play almost anything. All the party attendees were complimenting the music. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Kathy again.

Kathleen has come to the house,she volunteers her time to play for my Mom in Hospice. She is excellent, can play any song you choose and if she doesn't have it, she'll find it for her next visit. She has a winning personality and plays beautifully. She's just a delight to have come to the home and Mom really appreciates her music. If I were looking for a harpist for any type of music or event I would be thrilled to have found her. Like I said, her personality is so very charming and she definitely wants to please you in any manner she can with her beautiful music. Enjoy Kathleen at your next event!!!! Kathy played the harp at our wedding in May. She sat down with us months before the wedding to help plan musical selections. Kathy was very accommodating and eager to learn new music. She was very helpful with song choices. She met with my mom and venue to evaluate layout. She was easy to reach and quick to return emails. Kathy was very friendly and always happy to help. She made our wedding incredibly special and memorable!
