We hired Kathy Donkus for our daughter's wedding reception. Kathy was perfect in every way. Most important, the music she created was exactly what we wanted. Everything went so smoothly - starting with our first phone call. She asked all the right questions - what type of music we wanted, about the amplification at the venue, what to wear that would be appropriate for the occasion, how long to play, etc.

She was prompt, dressed beautifully, very professional, immediately checked out the sound system available, made sure the volume was appropriate and started playing at the time requested. Her music was beautiful, tasteful, flowing, consistent with the theme of the party. She contacted me 15 minutes before the end time we had agreed upon and asked if I needed more of her time and talent, or if she should plan to stop as planned. She took breaks as needed only, not too often.

I would recommend her to anyone looking for a harpist. She is here to please her client, obviously caring about your needs, wanting to create the atmosphere you are looking for at your party. I would definitely hire Kathy Donkus again.
