Katie is such a sweetheart. Although a controversy came up just the day before with the venue mgr as to equipment, she weathered the storm and gave us a wonderful performance, full of nostalgia and she indeed has the voice of an angel. She remained for a little while and helped draw out winning numbers for our raffles and visited with several members. She couldn't have been more charming!
Katie performed at our daughter's wedding, September 2014 at the Grand Plaza Resort in St Petersburg, FL. Prior to the wedding, Katie accommodated the bride with an interview and at our request an on the spot accapella solo in order for us to hear her voice. It gave us chills to hear her sing because she truly has the voice of an angel. She is a gifted performer. We purchased sheet music for her to learn two songs that we wanted on our venue and she was more than accommodating to learn them. The wedding was a beautiful beach event that had her performance somewhat overshadowed by the ocean noise even with the microphone. Our only disappointment was not having her perform in the indoor reception room for guests to have a true appreciation for her talent. She is a wonderful young woman and we highly recommend you choosing her to sing as a soloist for weddings. You will be very happy with her and the performance she will bring to your event.

I was blessed to find Katie on Gigsalad when I was searching for someone to sing Christmas carols to my girlfriend and her family while she was visiting with her parents in FL. Katie has a voice of an angel. I had her perform at a Christmas Party for friends and office staff. She sang and everyone commented on what a beautiful voice. She had the whole group join in a sing along of Christmas Carols and as I looked around the room everyone was singing and smiling. When she sang Silent Night as I looked around the room I saw individuals wiping tears from their eyes. Her voice just had you mesmerized, She sang "Let it go as her first song, and the group asked her to sing it again before she left, which she did and again had many singing along. Katie is a true professional. She showed up on time, was professional, but also very pleasant with a smile that lit up the room and I know my friends and I will be using her at other parties and events we held. This event was a beautiful Downton Abbey themed fundraiser for WEDU at L'Europe Cafe in Sarasota. The food was the best I've ever had, and the atmosphere was fantastic. They are well deserving of their fabulous reputation.
Katie responded to my request immediately and kept constant contact. My request for her to record a song with my lyrics was met with the utmost professionalism. Very quick turn around on receiving the finished product too. Katie has the voice of an angel ! I cant give a high enough recommendation.
I am a songwriter and wrote a 4 minute song for a friend's'wedding at the beautiful Don Cesar Hotel in St. Petersburg, I discovered Ms. Bournival on GigSalad and after seeing her video, decided she would be the right person to sing it. I live in NY, so I sent her an MP3 of the song with me singing on it (I have a dreadful voice) and despite some tricky vocal phrases to the song, she had it memorized and sang it perfectly the 1st time we tried it together. We did one more time and then we performed it in front of 100 guests... all this after just knowing her for about 15 minutes! She has a beautiful voice, has an innate sense of interpretation, and came dressed, ready, to go in a beautiful gown. The guests loved her!
I look forward to working with her again, as soon as we find the opportunity to do it.
