Keep it Smooth had a good message for our high school students and they liked his talk. Unfortunately, he did not prepare for the talk, and it stalled a few times, which was distracting. I know he will have a more effective message if he prepares ahead of time!

My work brings the beauty of poetry and the masterfully used lyrics of spoken word to you in a way that is comprehensible for my audience. I have the ability to gauge my audience and be able to strategically use my delivery to captivate. I don't talk over heads but i will open eyes to look at a given subject in a different light.
Since the age of 16, Keep it smooth has dabbled in the realm of poetry. Using it at first as a way of romancing women, he began to test the boundaries of his abilities. Now more than ten years later he is still writing, but know he chooses to denounce the title of a poet and embrace that of a spoken word artist. With great humility he expounds on any subject from emotional rejection to spiritual warfare. With his role models being Black Ice, Shihan, Saul Williams, Dahlak Braithwaite, and many more he will definitely have you on the edge of your seat. He pulls the strength to do this from his childhood, and going from living on the streets to being a happily married father of four.
