Kenny Cetera leads his eight piece band with a prominent horn section, authentically recreating the classic hits of Chicago.
Brother of the legendary Chicago front man, Peter Cetera, Kenny was a vocalist on Chicago 17, which is the supergroup’s best selling album to date.
After touring extensively throughout the Midwest, Kenny moved to Los Angeles where he began recording with industry heavyweights Chicago and David Foster and singing for some of the most prominent names in music.
Between Kenny's energetic performance, his authentic band and that genuine Cetera voice that was featured on Chicago’s #1 selling album, Kenny Cetera's Chicago Experience promises to be a highlight of your event.
I saw this band in Thousand Oaks last weekend and was blown away! I loved Chicago in the 70s and up until Peter Cetera left the band, and I have to say that these guys should be called CHICAGO! Kenny Cetera does a wonderful job making the songs his own and still giving them the Cetera 'voice.' He's a remarkable singer and performer. The bass player sounds exactly like Cetera in his playing, yet captures a cross between Terry Kath and Robert Lamm with his vocals. The horn section was phenomenal! The drummer had all of Danny Seraphine's fire with an added R&B element. The guitar player, who should have been on the other side of the stage, played very well and copped many of Terry's licks and vibe. The keyboardist was outstanding. This band plays many of the rare songs that have been missing from Chicago's live concerts for years. My wife and I loved the talking and stories that Kenny and the bass player shared. I wish they would have played even more album stuff. I will definitely see them again and again.

Excerpts from a review from a performance on July 20, 2013:
"...Chicago Transit Authority/Chicago where one of my favorite bands from the late 60s, 70s and 80s. ...I really love the voice of Peter Cetera wherein his songs are (in my belief) the best in the Chicago repertoire... Peter's songs truly speak to my heart. I have never known or heard of anybody with the sir-name of Cetera and wondered whether you were related to Peter. The other thing was, how can ANYBODY on this entire planet even try to sing Peter’s songs and do them justice. Peter has such an incredible and very distinguishable voice (and) in my belief nobody could ever sing anything like him. YOU were incredible last night and I am still reeling how much you actually sound like your brother. You have a fantastic voice and during many of the songs I had to close and dry my teary eyes because you brought back many memorable feelings that are connected to Peter’s songs.
...for me Kenny Cetera's Chicago Experience is truly the closest and best thing to the original sound, including you singing a lot of my favorite Peter Cetera songs. THANK YOU so much for making my evening."
"Blessings to you my friend and once again THANK YOU for bringing this incredible music and Peter’s one of a kind vocals back to live performances."
