Dr. Khalilah Johnson, Chaplain, is an International Bestselling Author, Motivational Keynote Speaker, Trauma & Resilience Expert, Corporate Consultant, Business Strategist, Human Rights Advocate and Digital Marketing Professional.

As a Corporate Consultant, she provides strategic planning for best business and marketing practices and training for awareness that help organizational leaders create Trauma-Informed workplaces and employees reduce stress from burnout, secondary & primary trauma, and compassion fatigue.

Dr. Khalilah has over 20 years of experience as a communication specialist and has actively fought for civil and human rights for over 14 years.

She is a level 6 digital marketing professional certified by Digital Marketing Institute, American Marketing Association with special certifications received by Google, Facebook Hootsuite, and HubSpot Academy.
As an executive coach, she helps high-performance women overcome perfectionism, break barriers and build businesses, to Regain Their Confidence & Power after Trauma.

She is a Trauma and Resilience Expert with a multi-generational trauma history.
As an intergenerational trauma survivor, she went from being unable to speak, to an award-winning Motivational Keynote Speaker, whose story has inspired millions globally.

Her testimony is of how the resilience and power within her saved not only herself but also many other people who have been impacted by widespread cultural conditioning, that can lead towards paralyzing fear and perfectionism, that leads down paths to feeling broken, unworthy, and unloved.

Growing up in a household plagued by domestic violence helped Khalilah develop a passion to use her voice to bring awareness and solutions to see families thrive and live whole and healthy lives.

In pursuit of a breakthrough for herself and others, Dr. Khalilah is now a distinguished member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, in collaboration with the National Center for Crisis Management, a Licensed Interfaith Chaplain and an Ordained Christian Minister. Her professional training includes over 40 specialists’ certifications in the areas of holistic healing, psychology, marketing and business.

She has studied at Liberty University and Baltimore County Community College; Biblical Theology, Strategic and Mass Communication and Cultural Psychology, which examines the Biological, Psychological, and Sociological global perspectives of humanity.

She is also a Human Rights Consultant and Advocate, Diplomatic Protocol and Business Consultant, certified by the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights, a Level ii Trauma and Resilience Professional, certified by Florida State University and a Trauma Support and Compassion Fatigue Specialist certified by Trauma
International Institute.

She is currently an Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine, and was the recipient of the 2021 CREA Global Awards – a prestigious list of honorees recognized for their creative ideas, adaptability in business, and for their work with sustainability or mental health.

She has served as the Assistant Dean of Social Media Marketing and the Speaker’s Bureau Director for Global Oved Dei Seminary University, and in May of 2021, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy from the University.

Dr. Khalilah has served faithfully alongside her husband Chaplain Michael Johnson youth and families in her community. In 2013 she was appointed prayer warrior leader , youth leader/teacher and director of Family Life at Miracle City church. Their tenacity, commitment and dedication allowed the couple to work and travel with the North American’s Division Youth Director who served 5,000 churches and 56 conferences worldwide.

In 2015 she became an internationally recognized online radio host of Broken into Purpose with over half a million weekly listeners after just four short months. In the same year, she was offered two more shows, which she hosted simultaneously.

Dr. Khalilah has served with the top influencers, change agents, and thought leaders, and In 2016 she had the privilege to serve with the late honorable Elijah Cummings at a Youth Empowerment Conference in Baltimore, offering her signature youth workshop on breaking generational cycles.

In 2018, she was accepted into the ‘Women Who Shape Our World’ mentorship under world renowned Global Ambassador Dr. Cindy Trimm, of Trimm International.

In 2020 she volunteered her time and experience to offer virtual workshops during the pandemic for Maryland's at-risk youth as a guest presenter for My Law Youth.

In January 2021, she served as the keynote presenter and as one of expert panelists for Blue Shield California’s ERG Dream employee training, for (A.C.E.) Adverse Childhood Experiences awareness.
