KickTrax featuring Lou Mauro
A classic rock and pop single entertainment act playing cover tunes for college students to baby boomers at "happy hour" to kicking the dance floor all night long.
Entertaining in North Central PA for many years, Lou Mauro is a singing drummer who is accompanied by midi sequences and virtual instruments backed up with his harmony vocals...a full-blown band in a box!
Make Kick Trax featuring Lou Mauro a part of your music calendar and local scene for great music, great times.
Lou was just featured in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette Newspaper Entertainment Section on the Thursday, April 25th edition. It's a good read!!!
Sitting here at The Pine Barn Inn restaurant in Danville, listening to Lou during and after dinner. Really is fantastic- Especially when a song is in his wheelhouse. After listening to him, my wife and I would definitely go out of our way to see him.
Response from Kick Trax Featuring Lou Mauro:
Thank you so much for the nice compliment. :-)

My name is Lou Mauro and I have been playing drums for over 44 years now. I started taking lessons at D.S. Andrews Music Store on 4th Street in Williamsport when I was 8. My teacher was an older gentleman by the name of Dutch Leighman. I still remember my mom taking me on Saturday afternoons. As I progressed I didn’t realize why my teacher moved me to the last slot of the day. But at the end of every lesson he would uncover his marimba and ask me to play a shuffle. We then proceeded to jam for 20 minutes or so until my Mom would show up. I realized then how much fun it was at an early age to “make music” rather than just play my instrument.
My brother and I would run home from school and play our instruments together for hours. I joined T.C. and the VIP’s, my first working band, at age 14. I played with my old buddy Tony Caschera, Brother Joe and Pete Codispoti every weekend.
We then formed a band called Ozz. Myself, Brother Joe, Joe’s girlfriend Vicki, Pete Codispoti, and Ed Fry. The 218 and the Holiday Inn are just a few of the regular places we played as a house band. We were a good band and we were tight because we played 4 to 6 nights a week. By the way…my Mom had to make us all matching outfits because the Holiday Inn required it. Flowered puffy sleeved shirts, jump suits and white platform shoes I believe!
After Ozz came the original Brother’s & Others. Myself, Brother Joe, Bill Eck and Kimbo Reichley. That band kicked ass. Hugely talented but as with all young rock and roll bands at the time tough to keep together.
I then moved to California to pursue my music career. I lived in San Juan Capistrano for close to a year and unfortunately, I ran into some hard luck and had to move back to PA.
When I got back to PA I Joined a band called Magique. Myself, Mike Caschera, Bill Eck and Barry Hirsch. Again an incredibly talented band. But hard to hold together. At the time I was quite busy doing session work and jingles.
Finally we organized the revised Brothers & Others Band. Myself, Brother Joe, Pete Codispoti, Bert Smeal and Jimmy DiPaolo. These are the guys I have been playing with for the past 30 years and are great musicians and great guys. Don’t let me forget my good friend Jon. Jon Geise has been with my family and the band my whole life. Affectionately known as “Bubs” we have shared a lifetime.
This brings us to Kick Trax. The music, lights and sound are cutting edge. I have always wanted to sing and play music I truly love. I have had a lot of fun putting everything together for this show and I’m quite pleased with the results. From clubs and private parties to weddings or special occasions, if you enjoy it one tenth as much as me you will be having fun.
With audience sizes of 400 , behind the line only.
