Kristoff the Magician

I provide astounding, elegant and funny magic for adults. This is not your kids' magician. Think cocktails, mentalism, ropes, cards and coins - and laughs. Lots of laughs. Guests will talk about it long afterwards.

The stage act combines magic and comedy with a music backdrop for an exciting and funny performance with lots of audience participation. There will usually be at least six "volunteers" on stage with me during a typical one hour stage show.

The close up magic is usually performed on a strolling basis although a stationary location works great as well. This is more intimate magic -- right under the noses of the audience -- with lots of sleight of hand as well as humor. I use cards, coins, mints, lighters, etc. to ensure the unexpected happens.

I've been doing close up and stage magic for years and I'm a magician member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood CA. This is tuxedo-class magic -- not clown shoes and balloon animals. I don't do kiddie shows but focus on the adult sense of humor and “wow” factor. Many performers try to do both children's shows and adults', but I keep my act tuned in to the adult crowd. I worked my way through law school doing magic but still perform because I love to make people gasp and believe the impossible is possible. Please see my “Planning Your Event” page at (link hidden). Kristoff began doing magic at age six, and worked his way through college and law school performing in bars and restaurants. Now, a "recovering lawyer," he's a full magician member of the Academy of Magical Arts and its club house, the Magic Castle in Hollywood CA. Admitted to both the US Supreme Court and the Magic Castle, he's performed from Richard Branson's Necker Island in the Caribbean to House of Blues Dallas. He provides full length stage shows as well as strolling close up and parlor magic.

For large stage performances, an elevated platform/stage or tiered seating is required, and a sound system for music. Jumbo screen/camera options is a great touch, but not required.
