Every year Whittier College has a Latino Graduation ceremony. And every year a different country is chosen to represent latino cultures from around the world. This years theme was Brazilian. Joany and her girls really brought the idea to life. The were punctual and came in with a bang when the performance began. They had beautiful costumes that made them look larger than life. Their choreography was great and they had some of the liveliest music. They did a great job. I would definitely want them to perform at some future events. They also were great with the crowd and interacted wonderfully with them. If you're looking for great samba dancers for an event definitely contact Joany.

I never imagined a small idea I had would be brought to life by Joany and the LA Samba Dancers. Extremely professional, delightful to work with, and gorgeous, the LA Samba Dancers made my grand wedding entrance one of the best moments of my wedding day. Joany is extremely detailed and in preparation for my big day she allowed me to chose from her spectacular handmade head pieces and costumes that the dancers would wear, and for fun dressed me in a head piece and wings too! With a few dance moves under my belt (that she graciously taught me), it was the best surprise to see my husband's face as we entered into the ballroom. The guests couldn't control their excitement as they gathered around the dance floor with the surprise show and exotic costumes. I would not only recommend the LA Samba Dancers for the amazing well-choreographed entrance and show, but thank Joany for making my big day exciting and entertaining.

I would like to thanks the girls from L.A. Samba Dancers for making our charity event a hit! The performance was amazing and reminded me of a Vegas show. Unbelieveable costumes that I found out where all hand made my Joany herself. I would recommend this group for any event. Very prompt,professional and beautiful!

I booked the LA Samba Dancers for a Elementary School Event and they were fabulous. The students, staff and parents enjoyed their 15-20 performance. They were on time and ready to perform. It was a pleasure and I would highly recommend them. Professional, Friendly and Beautiful to watch.

You and your guests will be thrilled with our “Passistas” (Samba Dancers) wearing the most beautiful sequined bead and gemstone costumes adorned with blooming feathers in vibrant tropical colors performing wonderfully choreographed numbers to the pulsating beat of Samba. *We can also choreograph songs of your choice and at your request include the “Bateria” (Live Brazilian Drumming Section) as part of your celebration.

The Los Angeles Samba Dancers are a specialized Brazilian Style Carnival Dance Company founded by Joany Macias.
“LA Samba Dancers” is a samba company with a passion for the art of dancing that is committed to bringing you the finest in authentic Brazilian entertainment.
Among our troupe we feature dancers originally from Brazil who grew up with Samba in their veins performing in Rio’s famous “Sambodromo” Carnaval.
We can also provide a fusion of various dance styles from different corners of the world and feature trained dancers in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Pop and Salsa as well as other forms of international dance.

You will be invited to dance with us during the show as well as have pictures taken with our dancers after the show making your event truly memorable.
We carry the largest inventory of Samba and Vegas style costumes in the entire USA and can handle any size performance from small parties to large corporate events, films, TV Shows or Award Shows. Our staff of expert designers are on call to create custom costumes to match the theme of your event. We are available to travel nationally or internationally. Please keep us in mind for a wonderful night of Brazilian Carnaval excitement
If there is a featured person in your event (birthday girl or guy, bride etc …) we can present them in one of our numbers or if desired they can learn basic choreography and dance with us in the show.
We can also design a custom Samba Costume for them from traditional to conservative for children or adults.
