Lance plays a blend of jazz and other genres of solo guitar music. He has spent the past several years performing around the world onboard various cruise ships for Princess, Celebrity, and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Lance Vallis played guitar at a fundraising event that we held at the Lake Theater and Cafe, and was wonderful! He was very easy to work with both in person and via email in advance of the event. I play a blend of genres of solo guitar music and perform around the Portland, OR area at restaurants and wineries. I have also performed extensively onboard cruise ships, most recently with Holland America Line.. Originally from Long Island, New York, I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, where I lived until 2011. In June of 2015, I earned my Master of Music degree in jazz studies from Portland State University. In addition to performing solo guitar, I also perform with my jazz/funk band Special Purpose ((link hidden)) and teach the online course History of Rock Music through Klamath Community College.
I provide all audio equipment. Access to a power outlet and a chair without arms are the only things I require.
