Last Minute Sublet is an acoustic duet based out of Kansas City. Although we enjoy playing a full spectrum of music, we gravitate more towards jazz standards and classic love songs.
We started playing together while we were both staying at a sublet in southern California. Yes, we did book it at the last minute, and yes that is where the band name originates. Later, split between New York and California, we slowly built a repertoire. Now reunited in Kansas City since 2017, we cover some beautiful classic tunes, and even write a few of our own.

I couldn’t have imagined better music for my little backyard reception/celebration! They added a perfect romantic touch to my party and were wonderful to work with.
We had Last Minute Sublet play for our wedding reception . They were fabulous ! They learned our parents song for our first dance and played so wonderfully that everyone was asking who they were and where we found them . Don’t hesitate to hire them if you’re looking for some great music to set the tone to an intimate evening .
Response from Last Minute Sublet:
Thank you so much for making us a part of your night. We had a wonderful time playing for you!

We are an acoustic male/female duet. We love to play classics by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, and Vera Lynn. Our set includes some bossa nova, jazz standards, and unique acoustic covers of great modern music.
We've played for weddings, coffee shops, bars, private parties, and everything in between. Our setup is compact, and we aim to integrate seamlessly into the event we are hired for. Never too loud, never too proud, and always thinking of how best to please the host.
We have all of our own professional PA equipment, take up about 10 square feet of space, require a single electrical outlet and can be completely set up and sound checked in 15 minutes flat. You simply will not find a more professional or friendly outfit for hire.
