Comedian/ Doctor/ Host/ Writer/ Shoe Fanatic!
The quick low down on me.
I have been a comedian for 12 years. I have performed in 39 of the 50 states in the United States and 5 countries.
I host/emcee/compere (Compere is the the term the British like to use -I'm there often) an insane amount of shows because I am good at it. I also headline shows.
I also produce three weekly shows in the Los Angeles area and I host all of them when I am not traveling. (All three shows have been running for over three years.
I have a Phd, in physical therapy and I am hired as a key note speaker as well.
My message is about the healing aspect of laughter.

Bio
Laura is like radioactive plutonium; calm, cool and collected until comedy took over her life. It’s always the quiet ones! She has the ability to make anything funny, even spinal meningitis. Having an unquenchable desire to try or learn anything, as long as it is not illegal or immoral, well maybe that was being a bit hasty
On top of numerous radio, TV and podcasts appearances she just finishing up a month of performances in Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Her solo show " I Didn't Mean to be a Virgin in the 80s' was a hit with everyone lucky enough to see the show. Laura has already been invited back to perform in the Fringe Festival again and also host a variety show. Laura is currently working on a book, turning her dissertation (yes officially she is Dr. Laura, but not THAT Dr. Laura) in turn a speaker platform to help heal the world with the power of levity. Laugh more! Doctor's orders!
For comedy to work, you most be seen and heard. So lights, stage and sound system are important.
And comedy shows during a dinner do not work, you can not laugh and eat at the same time. Probably not healthy to try.
My performance is always tailored to the audience I am hired to entertain and or inform.
stage, lights, sound
