As a rising Canadian artist and songwriter, Lauryn has garnered attention across Eastern Canada, through a rigorous show schedule and an unwillingness to waver from her roots.
After opening and sharing bills with various acts including Aysanabee, Chantel Kreviazuk, Donovan Woods, and Tokyo Police Club, Lauryn has found a presence and aura on stage that commands attention. I sent Lauren an original song to perform for us (well, for my wife, really) on the occasion of our first anniversary. So she had to learn the song, then put her own style to it (wow, it was awesome!), and then find us in the restaurant and play/sing it to us in front of everyone else there.
Lauryn was amazing! She presented herself very professionally, played and sang the song flawlessly, and came across as a dignified and very nice young woman.

Approachable, & talented, with a diverse range of old and new score love songs ( given that it was a Valentine’s Day forum ) sung with heart and in a soulful way. The crowd was enamoured by her capability as a musician.
