Urgent Message

The Lord has brought together a group of anointed and amazing musicians to be part of Urgent Message: Rich Hall on Lead Vocals/Guitar, Jeffrey Moss Bass Guitar, and myself (Metus Rivers) Vocals/Drums. Additionally, my lovely wife Diane Rivers also provides percussion with awesome vocals/harmonies. This is the current line up the Lord is going to use via “Urgent Message” to present His truth to the world.

In fact, through CR the Lord opened the first door in secular world for Urgent Message at the secular state run Haven Rehab for Woman in Deland Florida in the summer of 2013 where four women in recovery there received our Jesus as their savoir after UM shared the gospel with the love of Jesus via song and testimony! The Lord was true to His Word that this was just a small taste of what He is going to do; because, He already started to increase this type of thing 100 fold for His kingdom! Because recently Urgent Message has been fortunate to lead the worship and praise on a monthly basis on the last Sun of every month since Mar 2014 at the world famous Boot Hill Saloon located on Main St in Daytona Beach. God opened up the door for this awesome opportunity to Pastor Cochise Chops and Set Free Church to present the Love of Jesus by having church at the Boot Hill Saloon. Furthermore, God also opened a door for Urgent Message to bring the Holy Spirit to another secular venue to the Main Street Station located right next door to the Boot Hill Saloon. Urgent Message was part of the Station’s “Rock your City” battle of the bands on Feb 26 2015 and brought some anointed Christian music with the gospel to some people who might not have ever had the opportunity.

The main mission of Urgent Message is to present the gospel from the Holy Bible via song and testimony to people outside the four walls of the church building. Urgent Message is a mobile church ministry called to mainly reach those who might never enter a church building or have attended church in the past, but have fallen away or been burned by man-made traditions and religions. Consequently, the vision to simply bring the Lords Church to the people, both outside and inside the church walls; The band has had a few different members since 2010 and has also led praise and worship at various local churches via the Celebrate Recovery (CR) ministry.
