Lilly Moss is a rising country artist with a presence as powerful as her story.
Born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Lilly’s love for music began in early childhood. Music, in fact, played a vital role in saving her life.
At just three years old, Lilly was diagnosed with leukemia, spending much of her time in a hospital room where music became her escape.
Lilly's family fondly remembers how she would dance to Hannah Montana on her hospital bed with her sister, a memory she still cherishes despite being too young to fully recall it.
“Somehow, this made us feel like our lives were more normal. We also got to meet Taylor Swift, and a photo of that meeting made the ‘Dreams’ collage at the hospital.”
Lilly’s passion for music truly began to take shape in sixth grade when she signed up for vocal lessons. By eighth grade, she was playing the piano, and by 16, she was writing her own music, drawing inspiration from artists like Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Billie Eilish, and Adele. At 17, Lilly found the confidence to perform live for the very first time.
“I didn’t want the performance to end,” Lilly shares. “That’s when I realized how strong my love for music really is, and I began to wonder if maybe I could make it my career. Every time I went to see someone else perform, I would get the chills and tear up and think: One day, that’s going to be me.”
In 2023, Lilly released her first batch of original songs, recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Dan Malsch of Soundmine Studios. These songs garnered over a quarter million plays and placed Lilly on a variety of editorial and algorithmic playlists across digital streaming platforms.
Though 2023 was a fruitful year for Lilly, her dreams truly began to take shape in 2024 with the release of her debut country album, Meet Me on Broadway. Produced by Malsch and a dream team of musicians, including Johnny Nova, AJ Larsen, and Angelique Buckley, the album features the title track as well as singles “Heartbreak Summer” and "Love Me Not," with both featured on Spotify’s “All New Country” playlist.
“The album has some happy songs and some love stories,” Lilly describes. “But there are also some songs that are deep, gritty, and emotional. No matter what you’re going through or what situation you’re in, you’ll be able to find something to connect with.”
In 2024, Lilly performed for a sold-out crowd at the Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s Hearts of Gold Gala, where her mosaic artwork brought a winning bid of $20,000 for the foundation. She also performed at Musikfest, the nation’s largest non-gated free music festival, PA Bacon Fest, Easton’s Live at Falls Concert Series, and the Sherman Theater Showcase as a special guest of Hayes Warner.
Lilly was a semi-finalist in the 2024 Unsigned Only Music Competition and won the Linny Award for “Emerging Artist of the Year” by the Artquest Foundation.
Currently a student at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, Lilly is excited to see where her passion for music takes her. She is equally passionate about supporting charities that help pediatric cancer patients and their families.
“The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley played a big role in my early life,” Lilly shares. “They helped me while I was in and out of treatment. I want to give back to the pediatric cancer community and help others the way they helped me and my family. And I hope to continue to use my music to do good, like providing a voice to those too scared to use their own.”
