I create surrealist artworks live. The art can be one large image (for yours to keep!) based on the theme of your event or any suggestion you might have, or I can also do quick expressionistic portraits of your partygoers that they can take with them.

Price Range: $200 and up
My caricatures are not in the usual style you see at street fairs or carnivals. I create quick portraits in my own surrealistic, expressionistic style through ink, charcoal and other simple, unmessy media. The result is not something cartoonish, but rather an aesthetically pleasing art piece that can be displayed as such.
Each session lasts about 5-10 minutes for a basic, quick drawing, or 20-30 minutes for a more detailed portrait.
I can provide my own table (a small card table with black tablecloth) or am happy to work with whatever setup you'd prefer.
I'm an artist that hails from Iowa and has worked in the arts and exhibited in NYC, LA, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix, and throughout the midwest. I attended the Art Institute of Chicago for my BFA, and am currently working on my MFA at Maharishi International University.
