Both Solo instrumental and any groupings offered by Lori Spencer Music are of the best quality and professional in behavior. This is the reason that Lori Spencer is considered in the top five acts to be booked by event planners along the east coast. our performance will be based on your needs being able to provide the perfect instrumental or vocal background music for your event or be the main event for the evening with dance music even performing and dressing for themes if needed. Both Blue Tulip and Sultry bands have performed as roaring 20s, speakeasy bands, and a female baudy blues act (slightly naughty).

Lori Spencer - solo instrumental guitar - by a musician that has toured extensively across North America receiving multiple awards including the wedding instrumentalist of the year twice and the national female jazz guitarist award just to mention the last 3 years. Lori has degrees in both classical and jazz guitar and has performed in dozens of major jazz festivals and with many of the jazz greats over the decades. As a solo act i have performed at over 700 weddings and still counting. i can perform with or without power and have done hundreds of beach and other outdoor weddings. for these events i have a very small battery operated amp for sound assistance so the music can be heard even over a beach surf.

In the last decade Lori's jazz instrumental and vocal groups have been awarded national rising star awards 3 times and National jazz duo of the year awards 4 times. Lori Spencer Band - vocal jazz and Latin standards offered in sizes duo through quintet. The most popular groupings perfect for any event are Duo Guitar & Saxophone, Duo Guitar & Vocal, and Trio Guitar / Saxophone / Keyboard. For your large party especially if dancing is desired the most popular group is quintet Guitar/ Vocal / Saxophone / Keyboard / Percussion.

Blue Tulip Band - exceptionally popular vocal jazz blues, jazz, and R&B by award winning female musicians with decades of stage experience. songs that you know with a twist all our own. Blue Tulip normally appears as a Trio with Guitar, Vocal/keyboard, and conga player but up sizes for larger parties with both a bass player and saxophone. We can appear as background music or do a complete stage act. If needed, Blue Tulip can also appear as a vocal duo with guitar and vocalist performing the same mix of jazz, blues, and R&B. please find additional information and sound samples at (link hidden).

All of our sound equipment is Bose so our setup requirements are small and we can provide perfect clear sound mix without the need for extensive volumn which is perform if your needs are background music. Our lighting equipment if needed is all LED so low power usage and no danger from very HOT traditional band spotlighting.
