Twenty-something musician sprouted from a tiny girl with a big voice. Born in the Chicago south suburbs, Manisia (known by the pseudonym louisecox) has been writing songs on guitar and piano since grade school. Educated at Howard University in the Department of Music, she was able to hone her skills to branch out into composing and producing.
She now ventures to accompany electrifying artistic videos, films and motions graphics of the experimental kind.
