Luciana is an amazing Samba teacher but also a great performer! She can organize from a huge city Samba Festival to a presentation on a birthday Party! She is very Professional, kind and beautiful!!

Luciana da Silva is a highly professional samba dancer and teacher, with top-notch skills as a performer, choreographer, and educator. We hired her on two separate occasions so far: once to choreograph a team of dancers and perform in a parade; and again to teach a samba dance course for seniors. On both occasions, she was a joy to work with and far exceeded our expectations. For the parade, she trained her dance team under pressure and with little lead time. Nonetheless, one would never have guessed that as they performed impeccably to the music at the parade. For the course she taught, she bonded with the seniors and not only taught them dance steps that are traditional to the specialized samba dancers in Rio’s samba schools. But she also taught self-esteem, good posture, and dignity and conveyed the culture of her homeland in such a way that it captivated all the students, who learned so much and looked up to her. She also emphasized the joy and community of samba in such a special way. It is an experience they will cherish forever I am sure. Moreover, she is so fun and easy to work with. I can’t recommend Luciana enough as a samba dance professional.

Luciana provided excellent hands-on instructions in teaching Samba in my studio. She is able to take a fairly complex dance and break it into segments that can be learned even by those with no experience in Latin dancing. She is very reliable in showing up on time and communicating with staff. She is an excellent entertainer, with a magnetism that draws people into her performance. She keeps herself in excellent physical condition and her costuming is excellent!

I have been hiring Luciana for more than a decade for my public and corporate events. She is such an incredible performer and the audiences love her. They go Crazy!!!!. She is stunning, funny and such a kind human...She can perform in so many dance styles and her costumes are true works of art!!! My crowds love taking pictures with her and her elaborate costumes.. Luciana was an amazing addition to our college's first Caribbean Carnival. On a very hot day, she first conducted a mini-class with over 20 students and then performed a set of about three songs. The students were interested not only in the glamor and pomp of the performance but also in Luciana's undeniable charisma. She was professional, personable, and so well-versed on the history of Samba. As things in the itinerary changed, Luciana was also very flexible, as she reiterated numerous times that she just wanted what was best for the event. It was truly a cultural diffusion--many of the attendees spoke of their cultural experiences after Luciana spoke of her own.
