Luke Ashlocke‘s story is very simple. A dual citizen due to being the spawn of a Scottish dad who drinks and then gives horrible advice but only in that order and an American mom who’s a perfect southern belle and Luke’s hero. After his parents break up, Luke was moved to the U.S. to with his mom and brothers to begin again in a brand new world. Through extreme poverty, cultural confusions, and his naturally mischievous ways he discovered his own answers to life’s questions.
We hired Luke to be our "fake bouncer" at the door as guests arrived to our night club themed 40th birthday party. He totally surpassed all of our expectations for this role. He provided a custom experience for each set of guests full of laughs and just the right amount of fun "harassment." And by the end of the event, he had come up with enough material to roast the birthday girl which wasn't even in his original job description. Luke was on time, professional, easy to work with and masterful at his craft. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone for any event that needs an added bit of humor and personality.
Luke came to our local comedy club Jokers in Richland, WA where I go often to watch comedy. From the moment we sat down he was working the crowd...even came by my table and threw his arm around me and introduced himself and played around with us for a minute before the show started.
I've seen a lot of comedians, both beginners and very talented professionals--and I couldn't believe how he commanded the crowd the ENTIRE night. I was laughing so hard when I left the club my mouth hurt with smiles.
Since it was Saint Patrick's Day and he's from Scotland/U.K. area he decided to show up in a kilt...and freakin' hilarious every time he struck a pose in it the crowd went wild. His comedy is very fresh, young, you can relate, and at times want to pee your pants laughing.
I highly recommend this dude...he was an absolute favorite of the clubs and I hope he comes back to our town again soon. I'd pay to watch him over and over again. Funny as hell!
Honestly, Luke is one of those Comedians that you have to watch for your self. He is non stop, in your face while on the stage. Some comedians use long pauses for dramatic effect...they let the joke sink into you for a few seconds and move on to their next routine. Luke...well, is not one of those Comedians. One after the other the jokes and stories come pouring out, you can't catch your breath, you're still laughing from the 2 prior jokes, your cheeks are sore at the end of his time on stage, every adventure shared is as if you were there, every joke gets told to your friends when you get home, and the more you laugh, the more he feeds from it. I'm telling you....Non Stop!
If you need a laugh, I'm telling you, an honest energetic "I'm gonna pee that is so funny", relatable stories and jokes....Luke Francis is the guy to see. Go see him now before he becomes famous. I dont want to say it but "I told you so"
He's 100% fun, everyone can relate to one thing or another that he jokes about, he doesn't just pick on one type of person he picks on everybody, lol, he's worth watching !!!
One of the funniest if not the funniest person I've ever met in my life, absolutley love the humor that he brings in his songs. Love the song Power Duece, only he could write something that is so genius.
I've toured across the U.S. with this guy. We've had laughs, we've had conversations, we've booked gigs, and we've performed everywhere from Florida to Washington. The guy's hilarious, decent, down-to-earth, fun to work with, and a general stand-up guy. He's also in demand, so it's a good idea to get in touch with him ASAP if you're interested in booking him.
Met Luke after one of his comedy shows in 2008. Hired him as the lead in a short film a year later, consummate professional and a talented individual. He came with a poise, focus, and flexibility that all directors pine for. A true collaborator who, once on set, will do anything to better the story and production. Sharp instinct and a worldly intelligence. The film has gone on to win several awards. Completely recommend him.
Luke came and performed so well we are starting a monthly comedy night. He is one of the best comedians I have ever seen live or on TV. Be sure to book this man for your event!
We saw Luke act in an award winning short called Vicky and Sam and hired him to play the role of Mike Hunt in our feature film Killer School Girls from Outer Space. Luke was a model professional - he showed up on time, was well rehearsed, knew his lines, and delivered a top-notch performance. since then we have hired him for several instructional videos. Most of our productions are tightly scripted, but Luke is great at improvisation, so we usually let him play with the lines a bit. We are writing a role specifically for Luke in our next feature, Dirty Sanchez. If you are looking for professional talent you will be hard pressed to find a better investment than Luke Francis. ~ Bill Shumake Producer - Angry Nun Productions

Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Luke Francis is a slow rising comedian known for his forgetfulness. His sluggish move to the top is most likely caused by witty two-liners, fake “reality-style” true made-up stories based on derived tales of lore, or unoriginal music that he plays on one of 15 different instruments. Once hailed as the world’s most renowned triangle-ist’s with his humorous Death-Metal style, he has taken captive several audiences.
Luke has performed with some of the smallest names in the industry today and in some of the most unnoticeable comedy clubs in the U.S.A, U.K, and beyond!
His credits include but are not limited to: "Promoted" (In theaters early 2015) , "Grilling Bobby Hicks" (Netflix), "Unstrung" ABC, and various late show appearances.
Now here is what the critics are saying:
Good Times Magazine Long Island, NY. Call Luke, “Funny As Hell”! (May 2008)
Weird Magazine: “He is the next big thing!” (August 2009)
