Nearly two months ago I connected with Luqman after looking for a guitarist for my engagement. Luqman was super responsive, was willing to learn my Fiance and I's song, and met me at the venue to go through my vision for our special day. Luqman was so receptive and added / worked with me to really improve my vision for that moment. During the day of my engagement, Luqman showed up early, connected with my photographer and walked her through the plan. As my Fiance and I walked to the engagement location he played the part perfectly, acting as though he was simply hired by the hotel as a live musician. His voice was the PERFECT sound track to the biggest moment of my life (up until this point). He sang our song beautifully, was kind and beyond helpful. I would recommend him to ANYONE for ANY event.

If you’re thinking of hiring Luqman Rashada for your event all I can say is... DO IT! We are so glad we found him and he couldn’t have made our ceremony and cocktail house more special. He’s the best!

This is the 2nd time in 3 years that we hired Luqman to perform at our Ladies Valentine’s luncheon. He did not disappoint and many of the attendees came up to me afterwards complementing his entertainment. He was also very gracious on a scheduling mistake, that I made, and made sure that the event went smooth. We will be hiring him again in the future.

Words cannot express the amount of heartfelt love we have for Luqman. I found him well over a year before our wedding on GigSalad and after answering a few questions, listening to his music, we booked him right away. Initially, we were just going to have a small wedding and short- but-sweet reception where Luqman would play for us for just a couple hours. Well, after sometime into our planning it had grown into a much larger affair and our couple-hour-event was now an all-day thing, not to mention we had changed the venue. For our reception we had reluctantly opt’d for a DJ; however, we didn’t want to cancel with Luqman. He was so kind, gracious, and flexible that he agreed to singing all the music for our ceremony, through the cocktail hour, and even our first dance song. It was beyond an amazing experience, with several of our guests complementing his talent. He is a very professional, kind-hearted, and super-talented musician. We would book with Luqman over and over again given the opportunity!

Luqman is really talented. He performed 4 beautiful songs during our wedding ceremony and our guests Raved about him throughout the reception. I was raving well before the ceremony, having watched him perform before we hired him for our event. Hearing him for just a minute or two and you know that he has "it." He is such a nice person. He's easy to communicate with and wanted to make sure he delivered what we were looking for. And he killed it! So happy with him & his performance.

He performed at our wedding, very courteous & pleasant. Extremely talented, all our guest loved him & he went out of his way to learn songs special to us, and that means the world to us on our day. Definitely someone to hire and his prices are fair! We are looking forward to using him on our next event!

I had hired Luqman for my son's 21st Birthday Party. His communication was prompt throughout. He was also very flexible when it came to finalizing the playlist for the party. All in all, a great experience!!!

Listen, I usually don't take the time out of my day to do this but Luqman is an incredible entertainer. He's talented and helped our Grand Opening go so smoothly. Without being told, he made announcements to the crowd to bring them into the store. I would hire him again and again. Definitely went the extra mile.

Luqman was an awesome performer at my daughters one year old bday party. He was very professional. He showed up early setup all his equipment and was ready to start playing right at 4pm. It was the perfect type of music for that type of event. He was enaging with the guests as well but no overly engaging. Just the right mix. Would definitely recommend him to friends and colleagues.

Luqman was a great addition to my husband's 70th birthday party. We had a small gathering and his music was the perfect background. My wife and I met Luqman a year ago while we were on a date at Terilli's in Dallas, which was definitely our best date ever because Luqman was filling the restaurant with his warm and soulful sound. He is a great presence, he is very positive and calming and he is an absolute joy to be around. After meeting Luqman briefly at a restaurant I decided to book him to sing at my surprise proposal in June. He was so eager, professional and positive to work with during the entire planning process. Luqman learned a variety of songs that I had requested within a sort amount of time and was absolutely amazing. He truly was a blessing to work with and become friends with. Luq performed at our 2015 SIM DFW Holiday party with over 200 in attendance. He provided cocktail hour and dinner music, arrived on time and stayed until the very end. Luq shared his soulful musical style with our families at the Prestondwood annual Music in the Park event. Everyone enjoyed his performance so much that we asked him to stay and play a 30 minute encore. Luq's repertoire spans a wide range and will please all audiences. We definitely have him back.

I hired Luqman to play at our company Open House party when we moved into our new space. Everything about the evening was perfect. He came early to set up and was ready to play at the designated time. His song choices were spot on and his energy was contagious. Everyone raved about his performance and didn't want to leave. I first met Luqman on a Thursday night singing in a restaurant in Plano, TX. His voice was amazing! My sister and I was coordinating a graduation brunch for my daughter and we thought it would be amazing to have him sing instead of renting a photo booth, (Crazy thinking, the event was in three days). Before leaving, I mustard the strength to ask and he said, "Email me and I will check my calendar". My first thought was, yeah right! I emailed him, he emailed me back, we discussed terms and the gig was on. When I informed my daughter she gave the typical teenager look and said, "Whatever Mom"! Her reaction, look and questions made me nervous. I actually thought about calling it off, but I didn't. He showed up earlier and stayed past our agreed time. My daughter, her friends and our family all were surprised and amazed by his talent. I keep getting questioned, "How did you find him? I told them how it happened. The brunch was at a community center. His vocals drew a crowd of spectators and I passed out his contact card. It's been over a year and we are still talking about Luqman.

We had an ugly float pool party for an 18th bday bash and needed some live music. Luqman was the perfect choice. We enjoyed music across different genres but with his own style and personality. We floated under the stars and listened to great music. Everyone loved having Luqman there and I would definitely book him again.
