Lynette Louise is a neurofeedback practitioner, mother of eight, comedian specializing in autism that's been married a lot. Therefore it is only logical that her act should be centered around brain science, parenting, sex (remember she was married a lot) and various aspects of autism (both hers and her children's). She performs both for clubs and for conferences a feature length standup set which includes excerpts from her one woman show Thing To Thing To Thing from crazy to sane with biofeedback autism and the brain. Lynette uses stand up style comedy, music, storytelling and characters to share her autobiographical journey about the brain's ability to heal. For more info (link hidden)
Wow!!! Lynette Louise is funny, brilliant, beautiful and bravely honest. The show was so much more than I ever could have expected. She was somehow able to integrate a miriad of seemingly incompatable elements into her show without confusing her audience but rather giving us an opportunity to laugh and learn. And the music was amazing! Sometimes funny and other times emotional. But always pertinent. And always brilliant! As a matter of fact I brought a group of friends (as well as my children) to the show a week later. I saw her show two years ago and we still refer to it often, we even bought the CD! Lynette is changing lives by giving the gift of sharing hers. Thank you!!
Price Range: $600.00 and up
Gig Length: 30 - 180 minutes
Regardless of the type of venue and whether performer as a speaker or a musical comedian one thing is always present "laughter". Lynette shares many poignant stories about her unusual life raising autistic children and marrying potential fathers. She instantly inspires and motivates the listener to take action. Since she will tease and cajole and generally share her own foibles you will mostly laugh. Her humor is sometimes intellectual and often goofy. She can be expected to sing, dance and be silly before making you cry. And while audience members will not be made fun of they will be included in the fun.
Since first taking the stage as a stand up comedian in 1989 Lynette has been honing her message and her performance skills. Over the years she has written and toured three different variety shows all written with social change in mind. Working to bring her thoughts in an entertaining fashion to the world she was also raising 8 children (six adopted five disabled). Four of her children were autistic. She was able to cure three of them. It is not surprising then that she has written another show "Thing To Thing To Thing from crazy to sane with biofeedback autism and the brain." This one is about her journey of frightening away husbands and saving children. She combines all the stories lived with the characters she has created over the years. It is full of music laughter tears and inspiration ... and oh ya ... neuroscience! You will learn. This 180 minute full length show is a combination of motivational speaking, comedy club stand up, music and storytelling and as such can be divided into smaller segments for different venues.
