I can set up my equipment in 30 minutes or less. I've got 2 hours of original music and 3 hours of cover songs to pull from. Any requests made are usually a toss up of if I've previously learned the song or not. Usually I can play a song from the artist that is requested but if not then I try to provide a similar tune that is similar in sound. I will take at least one 10 to 15 minute break half way through the show, if it is 2 hours or longer. I just need a couple of outlets to plug up to and I'm ready to rock!

I am M@, a 27 year old solo singer songwriter that can adapt to each occasion, providing the adequate music for various audiences. I have spent my entire life writing my own originals as well as learning a wide variety of cover tunes from most genres of music. You can expect a performance that is genuine and down to earth. I feel at home when on stage or in front of an audience of any size.

Born in Louisiana, Matthew, aka M@, has been a singer/songwriter since the age of 12. He taught himself how to play guitar and sing, eventually writing his own originals. He is seeking any opportunity to share his creations with anyone willing to listen. His interest of music started at an early age when he picked up his moms guitar. Showing him a few chords it sparked a passion for creating music that will continue until his last breath. Growing up listening to Simon and Garfunkel, The Eagles, Jim Croce, James Taylor, America…His Neo-Folk-Pop contemporary arrangements can be reflective of those artists. He has had the opportunity of being the opening act for Hootie and the Blowfish, Sister Hazel, Sixpense Non the Richer and Uncle Kracker. Matthew Sweatt is a solo musician who has the equipment and desire to perform his original music as well as a plethora of cover songs ranging from "Skip James delta blues to more modern artists such as Ben Harper, Gnarls Barkley and much more.

I normally don't use lighting equipment. Although if it's required, then I can rent the necessary equipment.
