Who We Are:
Magical Events' clients come to us for personalized, quality entertainment. We work closely with you in crafting your event, whether it be a corporate team building, company party, trade show, holiday event, grand opening, private party, gala, birthday, anniversary, wedding, Mitzvah, school function or any other type of large-scale event. On the day of your event, Magical Events takes care of everything so that you can relax and have fun with your guests. It's important to us that our events are memorable for everyone.

History
Magical Events began in 1989 when we were asked to produce all of the local talent for the Grand Re-Opening of Fashion Island, Newport Beach. The success of this project led to producing grand openings and holiday events for shopping centers throughout the United States, including events featuring musical superstars Taylor Swift and Jon Secada..

Locally, Magical Events has been a favorite entertainment provider for country clubs, corporate groups, community associations and private parties. We have also been dedicated to safe and sober Grad Nights, and schools rely on us to provide the perfect entertainment to keep their graduates involved in the fun all night long. Magical Events owner, Ron Porter, was on the Board of Directors of GRADS and Magical Events was chosen by the Hawaii Department of Education to help introduce the Grad Night concept to their students and administrators.

Corporate groups have enjoyed our fun-filled company picnic entertainment as well as customized entertainment for promotions, conferences, trade shows and hospitality suites. Our creative team has designed original team building events including Wild & Wacky Olympics, Road Rallys, Musical Motivation Show and more.

Meet the Business Owner - Ron Porter, Ph.D.
Ron Porter is uniquely qualified in the entertainment field. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, providing him with unique insight into his audiences, and an expert knowledge of special events derived from many years of performing and coordinating talent.

Since his first performance at the age of eight, he has entertained or produced entertainment for audiences worldwide. His list of satisfied clients includes I.B.M., Xerox, T.R.W., Mercedes Benz, Black & Decker, Disney, Allergan, and many others. As a performer, his astounding close-up magic has been seen at the World Famous Magic Castle and as a special performer for International Dignitaries and Royalty from India and Malaysia. He has entertained exclusive guests at private clubs and parties for over three decades.

As a Founding Director of David Copperfield's Project Magic, Porter helped produce two international conferences on the uses of magic in therapy and rehabilitation. His continuing education workshops on therapeutic uses of magic have received rave reviews from health professionals.
