Kourosh performed at our 50th wedding anniversary party. He did a great job. He's truly a master performer. I have seen Kourosh perform many times, and he never fails to amaze me. We had tables set for dinner, and after eating, Kourosh went around the tables doing card tricks, amazing things using phones, and demonstrating his unbelievable ability as a mentalist. He is very impressive, engaging people at each table up close and personal. Everyone was astonished at his performance. To see everyone's reaction was fantastic. When our guests gathered around my wife and I later in the evening, Kourosh had saved his most mind-blowing magic for us. I won't say exactly what he did, but using cards and Rubik's cubes, everyone was astonished, especially my wife and I. It was very special for the two of us, and we were even able to keep a part of it as a souvenir. Kourosh was the talk of my neighborhood for a few days after the party. I hired K as a mentalist and magician for a family celebration. He performed an amazing show with both magic and mentalism. Our group included 3 generations, including skeptics and enthusiasts, but by the end of the performance he had WOWED the entire crowd! This was our first time hiring Kourosh, but definitely not our last. He was absolutely amazing.

He remembered the name of everyone that he interacted with, and for a party of 75 people that is no small task.

The crowd was full of skeptics that questioned why I would hire a magician for a 40th birthday party, but after seeing what he had to offer, multiple party goers asked for his contact info so they could hire him as well.

He moved through the party for an hour and a half, and I wasn't able to figure out a single trick, and neither could anyone else. Minds were blown!!

He performed the impossible. He had a wide range of tricks and it was fun to hear what tricks he performed for different groups of people. Everyone was reenacting what tricks he did for them hours after he left. He read minds, did amazing slight of hand and charmed the pants off of everyone that he spoke to.

I can't recommend him enough. My wife who was potentially his greatest skeptic wants to hire him again just so we can become friends with him.

Well...you're going to lose some sleep over Kourosh Taie. And your insomnia might last for a long time. His brand of mentalism and magic stays with you long after he leaves you. "How did he do it?" You'll be asking that again and again. You'll be calling up your guests in the middle of the night, weeks after the event—it's okay...they are awake, too, asking themselves the same thing. He really is amazing. Charismatic, dashing, quick-witted and clever-as-hell. He absolutely made our night.

I had him come to a smallish birthday party for my husbands 40th birthday. He was an amazing addition to the party! All the guests are still talking about it.

I'd had a fever dream vision of my birthday dinner party including a professional entertainer who could make us all laugh AND dazzle us with acts of illusion. There were a lot of profiles for "comedy magician" in DC, but Kourosh's GigSalad profile, website, and personalized response to my event listing stood out. He was consistently proactive about contacting me, checking in event logistics, and the fact he phoned me in the first place to establish if he was right personality for my event and friends established a lot of confidence with me.

He kept me updated on logistics and timing on the day of the party, as we has coming from another show, and he was able to accommodate that our party schedule was a bit flexible, and some of our guests late (he had a hilarious idea for a joke for when the late guests walked in during his show).

The show itself had my guests and I screaming laughing, and a couple of my friends genuinely perturbed at the powers of this "warlock" - some dazzling sleights of hand (which I won't spoil). Kourosh is clearly at ease with a big group of party goers, he gets to know them, and makes them feel included (e.g. he got me, the birthday girl, up a couple of times, as well as each of my friends to participate).

Some of my friends were initially a little puzzled at my insistence on a COMEDY MAGICIAN but they were blown away and messaging me the morning after, "That was the best party I ever went to and that magician was AMAZING."

Simply put, Kourosh was amazing! Before booking him for a virtual event (a work team meeting), I knew nothing about him and didn't even watch the video on his website. So I literally had no idea what to expect. But he ended up being so fantastic. He was engaging, funny, likeable, entertaining and most importantly, had mind-blowing tricks. In addition, he had a great Zoom setup that allowed you to see his magic up close. If you are considering hiring him, do it! He will not disappoint.

WOW! Magician "K" was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G in every way. We hired him to perform at our house for a small Halloween party. I usually go all out with my Halloween parties, and really wanted to one-up myself this year since it was going to be more "low-key". I am so happy that I found Magician K for my event. He was super friendly and professional on our first call to discuss the event, and far exceeded our expectations at the event. He came early (with his custom mask on the whole time) and stayed late! We first experienced Kourosh at a wedding. We were blown away by his amazing up-close magic - performed right under your nose. Professional. Totally cool. He is also extremely charming. We hired him on the spot (no joke) to work at an event in our home - about 70 guests aged 7 to 70. Kourosh had a crowd around him the entire time. People couldn't get enough. Guests emailed and called in the days that followed to say how stupendous Kourosh was. Some people are still sending me hypotheses about how he did the magic and it is a month later...he is awesome.

The guest age range was from 25-70, and Kourosh was able to entertain everyone from young and old. He also did some magic that involved my client and her family which entertained all the guest.
