I'd had a fever dream vision of my birthday dinner party including a professional entertainer who could make us all laugh AND dazzle us with acts of illusion. There were a lot of profiles for "comedy magician" in DC, but Kourosh's GigSalad profile, website, and personalized response to my event listing stood out. He was consistently proactive about contacting me, checking in event logistics, and the fact he phoned me in the first place to establish if he was right personality for my event and friends established a lot of confidence with me.

He kept me updated on logistics and timing on the day of the party, as we has coming from another show, and he was able to accommodate that our party schedule was a bit flexible, and some of our guests late (he had a hilarious idea for a joke for when the late guests walked in during his show).

The show itself had my guests and I screaming laughing, and a couple of my friends genuinely perturbed at the powers of this "warlock" - some dazzling sleights of hand (which I won't spoil). Kourosh is clearly at ease with a big group of party goers, he gets to know them, and makes them feel included (e.g. he got me, the birthday girl, up a couple of times, as well as each of my friends to participate).

Some of my friends were initially a little puzzled at my insistence on a COMEDY MAGICIAN but they were blown away and messaging me the morning after, "That was the best party I ever went to and that magician was AMAZING."

Thanks Kourosh for helping to make my birthday so hilarious and memorable.
