After seeing their show at Dirigible Brewing, we booked Makes U Wanna for our “summer backyard party”. Michael came to our house to scope out outdoor setup and create a foul-weather plan. When the weather forecast surprised us (it was late July!) by turning fierce just hours before the party, the band collaborated with us to find a way to take the party and the music indoors. While it rained outside, Makes U Wanna rocked the house and the crowd of 70 crammed into it! Every band member was positive, friendly, adaptable, and fully enrolled in making the party memorable. Their tune selection was fantastic, execution stellar, and, yes, they made us wanna dance, and dance we did. Every post-party thank you note from a guest mentioned the band with high praise. I hosted Makes U Wanna for our town’s annual Porchfest and they were amazing! So friendly and easygoing and the music is so much fun! They played two sets and easily had the biggest crowd out of all of the bands. Their fun music and great energy quite literally had people dancing in the streets. I can’t say enough good things about this awesome band! Highly recommend!
Makes You Wanna performed for me at an outdoor party. They performed from an outdoor amphitheater. Everyone had a great time watching the band perform. Some folks danced, but most simply watched the band because they were so good it was more like a concert. The set was also fun with lots of lights, and a tight series of songs. The music was uniformly fantastic with loads of energy and soul. At the end, a few guests joined the band and sang with them, which was fun. I received many rave reviews from guests in the weeks following the party, and plan to book them again for another party.

They are talented musicians that blend perfectly together, are extremely professional in their presentation and are super fun. They made my birthday party of 80 guests get on their feet or sing along from their seat. Makes U Wanna played for Porchfest in West Concord and drew the largest crowd we saw that day. They have such a great happy energy! They clearly love playing together and the group is really tight. As promised, their music really makes you want to dance, and there were numbers of people twirling and weaving through the group. We love this band!

Makes U Wanna played a lively and fun set during our recent West Concord porchfest. Soon, neighbors and the strolling crowd of old and young, adults and children began to dance. It made up for a lively and lovely scene. With rhythms and catchy tunes, they brought the party on!
They were the opening band to perform at our annual Oktoberfest event. Extremely helpful with setting up, Their music was a perfect way to start our event. We were impressed with the quality of the music. Loads of fun to listen to. Planning and communication were smooth, and they showed up on time!!
Makes U Wanna played for an outdoor celebration event we had at our condominium complex this Summer. They played so many fun songs, and people were singing along and dancing. The band members are obviously having a blast playing together and their energy makes you want to have fun with them. They set up and cleared out all their own sound equipment and left the place clean and clear, no damage. Great music, fun people, easy to work with… I would highly recommend them.
