A Personal Encounter With God Spiritually Filled With Worship.
Malcom Antonio Christopher II is a 23 year old up and coming Contemporary Gospel Artist who was born in Dallas, TX. He began singing at an early age in the Voices of Hope children’s choir and moved to the Voices of Victory choir where he continues to sing. At the age of sixteen, Malcom led his first solo with the Voices of Victory choir and has displayed a true talent for singing gospel music. He started his vocal training with his aunt Janet Carter and additional training with Hiawatha Wilson who is the Minster of Music at St. Paul Baptist Church. He is a featured solo artist in the Dallas Annual Youth and Praise program that features up and coming youth artists. He is often requested to sing at other Churches around the DFW and Houston area. Malcom is a senior at Houston Baptist University and is the leader of the Gospel Student Fellowship praise and worship team. Over a short period of time since living in Houston, he has been exposed to other gospel artist such as Nikki Ross The Walls Group and Tasha Page Lockhart. His most notable and exciting experience was auditioning for “Sunday Best” in which he made it to the last round of the final cuts. He performed in front of Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Kierra Sheard and Kim Burrell.
Malcom continues to grow in Christ. He has been blessed with opportunities to perform at Praise in the Park in Ardmore, OK and Saving Our Daughters benefit concert in Garland, TX featuring, Issac Carree, James Fortune & Fiya and Kierra Sheard. His passion for singing has opened doors that have allowed him to write and record his first solo album entitled, “Still Standing” to be released on August 21st.
He continues to give God the praise and glory for everything that he has been blessed with. He gives a very special Thank You to his Pastor, Rev. Lelious A. Johnson for his support and guidance and to everyone else who support and believes in him, Thank You for keeping him humbled and grounded
