Marielle Thomas

My songs range from classic to current. I often perform in the female singer/songwriter genre, but I also do acoustic arrangements of pop and rock songs from the 70s-today. You can expect to hear a large variety of songs done in a fresh way, and both on acoustic guitar and piano interchangeably to mix up the sounds for the show. Audiences can expect to hear and sing along with familiar songs, and also to hear fresh arrangements as well as original songs.

I have been writing and performing my own music for about 15 years. I have played in numerous bands for venues such as Diesel in the South Side, Wheeling Island Casino, and for large crowds at the Monongahela Aquatorium. I have also performed as an acoustic solo act in various coffee shops, bars, churches, parties and events. I help host a weekly open mic night in Bethel Park. I have a degree in music from Chatham University, and am currently a private music teacher at David's Music House in McMurray, PA, teaching piano, guitar, and flute. I am available for gigs in the Pittsburgh area and surrounding area as well.

I can provide anywhere one 1-hour set, two 45 minute sets, or 3 half-hour sets, depending on the needs of the venue. I can bring my own PA system to accommodate a small or large venue, depending on your needs.

I can provide all my own sound eqiupment including PA, speakers, microphone, cables, etc. Any additional desired stage lighting would need to be provided by the venue, but I have never required this in previous performances.
