Markia Powell has been passionate about music from an early age. She loves arranging and composing music. She has been playing the harp for over ten years and is working her way toward a music minor at college. She has provided solos and orchestral accompaniment for various events including church and college performances. Hundreds of people have enjoyed hearing her soothing music. Markia’s harp music will enhance the ambiance of your venue. She recently graduated with a minor in music from Patrick Henry College where she also participated in solos, a harp ensemble and orchestral events, composing a piece with voice and harp for one of them. She has taught others how to play the harp and enjoys composing new music.
She will bring a touch of elegance to whatever event you request. Please don’t hesitate to get in contact.
Indoor venues only! The outdoors is too unpredictable and the harp too valuable for a sudden rain.
No additional equipment needed unless amplification is required.
Please reach out at least two months prior to the event. Currently, only weekend bookings are available with the possibility of a Friday evening.
